By the Gods is a roleplaying game of mythological adventure. Players take the roles of heroes and demigods from ancient legend and seek to prove their worthiness to ascend to the ranks of true godhood. It is a very flexible, free-flowing game with lots of opportunity for fun and creative roleplaying.

By the Gods uses the Oroborus core rules with special adaptations for mythological powers and abilities. The basic rules include six adventures and extensive background material for a number of mythological settings.

By the Gods includes information on the settings of Norse, Roman, Russian and Celtic mythology. Future books are planned which will expand the series to cover other mythological settings.

Dark Albion is currently scheduled for release in book form in early 1999. It will be over 100 pages of text, perfect-bound, with a color cover and tipped in full-color interior illustrations. The total price for the book will be $18.
